The enviromentlist position that industrial man will ruin us all through climate change is the classic pessimist position of lose/lose.

If they are right, civilization collapses and being able to say, "I told you so." won't help.

If they are wrong then our descendants will laugh at how silly they were.

I'm not saying be wasteful, I'm a very frugal person.
